The PIM Running Festival at Crathes Castle
The PIM Running Festival at Crathes Castle returns this Saturday, 24th September, for the first time in 2 years and we can't wait to welcome you all back.
The PIM Running Festival is a great family day out, the range of races on offer combined with a family friendly area on the castle lawn appeals to children, novice runners, and veterans alike.
Online entries are now closed but don't worry you can still come along and enter on the day.
- 1.5km primary schools’ race - £5.00
- 5km cross-country race - £10.00
- Half marathon - £28.00
Registration will open for all races from 9.30am and close at 11.45am.
Each race will start and finish on the lawn in front of Crathes castle, the half marathon route taking you out onto the country roads to the north and east of the estate, while the 1.5k and 5k routes will remain within the Castle grounds.
Prizes will be awarded for 1st to 5th place in the 1.5k, 1st to 3rd male and female in the 5k, and 1st to 3rd male and female in the Half Marathon. This year we have extended the prize pot to include prizes specifically aimed at the over 50's, over 60's and over 70's age groups running the Half Marathon.
All entries will receive a PIM Running Festival t-shirt and medal at the finish line.
